C&C Reservoirs latest EOR content release includes 23 EOR Evaluation Reports.
These are now available within the DAKS EOR Module.

Highlights Include:

Coalinga Field (USA) – Four-Pattern Pilot – Continuous Steam Injection
Targeting the 3000 cP heavy oil, the pilot is expected to achieve an incremental recovery of >34% STOIIP with a steam utilization of 5.1 BW/BO. This success provided a basis for fieldwide expansion. Temperature surveys and PLTs proved to be useful tools for performance monitoring.

Magnus Field (UK) – Central Panel – Hydrocarbon WAG Miscible Flood
The project achieved gross and net hydrocarbon gas utilization of 9.8 MCF/BO and 3.5 MCF/BO respectively, with an expected incremental recovery of 10% STOIIP. Performance monitoring such as reservoir pressure measuring, tracer surveys, periodic Production Logging (PLT) and saturation logs, time lapse 4-D seismic, and reservoir simulation lay a basis for success.

Mangala Field (India) – Five-Spot Pattern Secondary EOR Pilot – Alkaline-Surfactant-Polymer (ASP) Flood
The highly successful pilot with an incremental recovery of 25.8% over polymer flood, resulted in an almost eightfold increase in oil production and a maximum water-cut drop of 70%, validating fieldwide expansion.

Means Field (USA) – San Andres Unit Project – CO₂ WAG Miscible Flood
Targeting the 6 cP moderate viscosity oil, the project successfully achieved an incremental recovery of 11% STOIIP with a CO₂ utilization of 15.5 MCF/BO. Comprehensive reservoir and simulation studies, infill drilling and pattern modification, along with organized and detailed surveillance program contributed to the overall success of this project.

Shuguang Field (China) – Du 66 Block Project – Cyclic Steam Injection
The technically and economically successful project targeted the 280-616 cP heavy oil with an expected incremental recovery of 18.1% STOIIP. Reservoir management measures including profile modification, re-perforation, sidetrack, selective injection/production, optimized injection schemes, contributed to the success of this project.
