C&C Reservoirs latest EOR content release includes 30 EOR Evaluation Reports.
These are now available within the DAKS EOR Module.

Highlights Include:

Baolige Field (China) – Field-Wide Application – Microbial Flood
The field-wide microbial flood combined with the conformance improvement treatment achieved a significant increase in oil production and decrease in water-cut, observed a six-month production plateau and an expected incremental recovery of ~5% STOIIP.

Huanxiling Field (China) – Jin-91 Block Pilot – In-Situ Combustion
Achieved an incremental recovery of 24.6% STOIIP on 13,955 cP oil, giving a cumulative AOR of 5.14 MCF/BO. Reservoir and combustion performance monitoring contributed to the success.

La Ventana Field (Argentina) – C2+D2 Sands Pilot – Microbial Flood
Both technically and economically promising pilot on 29 °API gravity oil, giving an expected incremental recovery of 5% STOIIP. Streamline simulators proved useful for both project design and performance prediction.

North Oregon Basin (USA) – Field-Wide Application – Polymer Flood
The promising field-wide application on the 10-cP oil resulted in a significant increase in oil production, with an expected incremental recovery of 2.3% STOIIP. Both conformance improvement and horizontal drilling are eligible for further oil production enhancement.

Yarega Field (Russia) – Field-Wide Opposite SAGD Application – SAGD
Remarkably successful Opposite SAGD application on the 13,000-cP extra heavy oil with an expected incremental recovery of 28.6% STOIIP. Pilot tests, reservoir simulation, and reservoir surveillance provided the basis for field-wide application and effective reservoir management of SAGD technology.

C&C Reservoirs’ EOR Evaluation Reports provide complete documentation on the EOR methods proven to be effective in improving field production performance, recording the lessons learned and best practices within the context of EOR over the lifespan of a field or reservoir.

Inside the DAKS EOR Module

DAKS™ Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Module has been designed to optimize the screening of EOR methods to maximize recovery and address common industry challenges encountered when conducting EOR. Through the identification of applicable global analogues and best practices our users can understand key risks and uncertainties, using this information to identify the most appropriate methods for their assets.
