Dr. Sun Keynote Speaker at Middle East Carbonate Reservoir Summit

HOUSTON, TEXAS (April 25, 2007)-Dr. Shao-Qing Sun, CEO of C&C Reservoirs, delivered a keynote speech
titled "Reducing Uncertainty in Predicting Production Behavior and Recovery Efficiency of Carbonate Reservoirs Using
Field Analogs," at the 2007 Middle East Carbonate Reservoir Summit held on 23rd-24th April in Bahrain. The conference
brought together geoscientists and reservoir engineers from all corners of the world to discuss the latest innovations
and development in improving reservoir performance and reducing production risks in carbonate fields.
Dr. Sun reviewed the reservoir behaviour and constraints on ultimate recovery factor of more than 300 mature carbonate
fields worldwide. His presentation demonstrated that analog study of mature fields can provide a powerful tool for
quantifying carbonate reservoir performance, for analyzing previous operators' successes and failures in field
development and for guiding decision-makers to avoid mistakes and optimize field development strategies.
